Atisha Centre - construction of the first new accommodation block

The construction of the first new accommodation block for almost 30 visitors at Atisha Centre has begun.

We need to get the accommodation built and up and running as soon as we can to expand opportunities for Dharma Students to attend teachings and retreats. Atisha Centre is offering free food, board and teachings to all volunteers. Bob Waterhouse is the project manager and gives on the job guidance and supervision. There is a job for everyone and we can match the jobs to your skills and strengths. Jobs may include building, plastering, painting and general labouring/landscaping. It would be great if you have building related skills but not essential as much of the work is quite basic and repetitive. It's a big job and we welcome you all on board!!
