Rinpoche's visit cancelled

Dear All,

As you may have heard, this is the obstacle year for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and so there have been some special pujas arranged over one month for this. These are very large pujas specifically to be done around Boudnath Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal, by the heads of all 4 Tibetan Buddhist traditions, and of course many many monks and nuns.

Rinpoche was aware of these pujas, but it was difficult for Rinpoche to attend them because of His schedule. However the day before yesterday, Rinpoche received a call from an important person connected with the Tibetan govt, who told Rinpoche that He really needs to be part of the pujas, at least for one week. So Rinpoche has no choice but to go now.

Rinpoche sends His sincere apologies about not being able to attend HHDL's teachings in Australia, but although attending is important, these pujas for HHDL's obstacle year are more important.

So sorry for the disappointment.........
