The Dharma is alive and well in the Barossa!!

Thanks to Geshe-la and our Sangha from Buddha House we were able to host another successful event to offer Dharma to the people of the Barossa. It was such a blessing to have our kind and respected teacher visit us and explain Buddhism in such a clear and concise way. We have had a wonderful response from this teaching with some positive emails and a fantastic turnout for meditation. We were able to share a beautiful lunch together with time to slip down the coffee shop for tea, chai and of course, coffee. A big thankyou to Lyndy, Adam etc. for bringing Geshe-la to us, and to all those who attended.

Unfortunately we had to say farewell to Alycia who has moved back to Brisbane to be with her family. We really did appreciate her contribution to our small group and wish her well in all her endeavours.

Our study group at Deb Wilson's house on the 2nd Sunday of each month continues to support and inspire us. We have just finished a close look at the precepts.

Ven. Jamyang begins the "16 Guidelines to a Happy Life" on the 28th of June continuing on Sunday the 26th of July, August 30th and September 27th. We have heard such positive reports of this teaching, we are all keen and feel very happy to have Jamyang travel to the Valley to present it.
