Trouble logging in?

We've made some changes that make logging in a bit smoother. 

Any further problems, here's some hints:

• note that username and password are both caSe sensitive.
• Is your account activated? Check your email for activation instructions.
• Try again - maybe the server was temporarily distracted. Refresh the page. Click on a link.
• Clear your browser cache, and reboot - this is especially effective if you seem to have a partial login - ie logged in to the website, but not the forum, or get unauthorised access messages.
• Use the lost password facility to reset.

If non of the above work then chances are that a webmonkey is tinkering under the hood, so try again later.

"You are not authorised to view.." or similar error message:
Try leaving the 'remember me' checkbox clicked. This will keep you logged in between sessions, which can be very convenient. Under some (rare) conditions leaving the box checked seems to help difficult logins. Not sure why.

Tried all the above, then contact the website tech team.

27.04.07 - A fix has been applied that solves the problem of getting a 'disallowed (403) error after correctly logging in, after first having a failed login (eg wrong user/pass).
