Living Dharma Study Group

Monday 7:15 pm starting 15th August 2011 

Student-led discussion group for people wanting to live the Dharma every day in their working, family and student lives. The Dharma  offers creative approaches for transforming mundane and painful situations into times of greater contentment.
Open, lively discussion is part of the evening.

One does not become a Buddhist by acquiring the external trappings of Buddhism. Only by actualising a life of living Dharma can one fully experience the Buddha's Path.

Focusing on three trainings, ethical conduct, meditation, and the pursuit of wisdom, participants will be encouraged to develop personal resources for living the Dharma meaningfully within their everyday lives. In addition, through the vehicles of group reading, study, meditation, and discussion, participants will take part in experiencing the sense of what it means to be sangha, the community of spiritual friends.
