Lama Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche with Lama Yeshe founded the FPMT in1975. Rinpoche is the Spiritual Director of over 160 centres worldwide, including Buddha House.

With a talk on both evenings before the initiation. Various ceremonies that are related to the initiation (refuge, bodhisattva vows, tantric vows) will also be given.

All are welcome on all three evenings as students for the talks. Rinpoche generally talks for at least 2 hours in the motivational talk before initiation. Students who do not wish to take the initiations will be informed when initiation and various ceremonies related to the initiation (refuge, bodhisattva vows, tantric vows) are to commence.

The teachings will be suitable for all students. The evenings will be structured so those who do not wish to take the initiation are able to leave before the actual initiation is being given.

Commitment: for those who are taking the initiation, the commitment is 1 mala a day for life.

For those who have not taken Refuge and/or the Bodhisattva and tantric vows, all will be offered by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at some stage and are required to take the initiation. Those who have already taken can renew their vows at this time.
