Wednesdays - 7.15 pm. Discovering buddhism is an introductory 2-year course designed to give participants real tools and skills needed to integrate Mahayana Buddhist practice into daily life.

Even though our problems appear to come from external circumstances, it is how we deal with them that will determine our resulting mental states.

By using techniques traditionally termed 'thought transformation' we can gradually relinquish our self-cherishing and become more compassionate in our behaviour, focusing on the welfare of others.

As our attitudes about ourselves and others change, we can respond to everyday problems in a more positive way.
