Jampa Gendun Returns to BH

Jampa GendunPopular Buddha House teacher Jampa Gendun returns for a public talk and a weekend of teachings. An American by birth, Jampa was a monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition for seventeen years and studied for over fourteen years in India at the Tibetan Library of Works and Archives and the Buddhist School of Dialectics. This was then followed by a year of meditation in various monasteries in Thailand. He has been teaching Buddhism for over twenty years beginning in 1987 - 1995 at Buddha House, where he also served as Tibetan interpreter. He now lives in New South Wales.

In this weekend workshop, Jampa will lead you through The Four Immeasurables: the heart qualities of loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity—what they are and how to develop them. No matter what our religion or whether we have any religion at all, cultivating these four positive emotions is effective for everyone seeking personal happiness and world peace.   

Cost $150 waged $120 concession $100 member (fully catered vegetarian lunch)
