Kangaroo Island Retreat - 9 - 13 April 2009

In conjunction with sister centre De-Tong Ling,  Buddha House offers a 4 day-Easter retreat on Kangaroo Island with our resident teacher Geshe Pema Tsering, assisted by Jampa Gendun. Geshe-la will be teaching on the Stages of Meditation, a profound text, written by Kamalashila, which has the potency to train the mind for wisdom.

Give your self the opportunity to come to this “Island of Bliss Void”, where we will dwell on 1200 acres of wilderness at the western end of Kangaroo Island. The pure air and water of this pristine environment, the long views out to sea and the deep silence of its remote location provide ideal conditions for intensive retreat.

The conditions will be basic, which will help to bring the mind in the right place for retreat. We have only have space for 20 people! Accomodation varies from your own tent to a bed in a retreat hut. Cost from $265 - $355, not inlcluding the transport of around $135.

The closing date for registration is not 10 January as was earlier announced. Registration for the retreat is still possible for those taking part in the car pool of Buddha House. To secure your booking and avoid disappointment a deposit of $150 is required.
