Mantra Rolling for the KI Stupa

The first mantra rolling session held on Saturday 7 February (change) at Buddha House was a great success and we now plan to hold mantra rolling sessions every SUNDAY from 1pm to 4 pm starting on 22 February at Buddha House.

This is a great opportunity to spend a relaxed couple of hours with Dharma friends learning a new skill, helping to roll the mantras that will go inside the new Stupa on Kangaroo Island.

It is considered a very virtuous action (the cause of happiness) to be involved in the any activity associated with the construction or filling of a Stupa, the representation of the Buddha's mind, the merit created by the action of creating these mantra rolls that will go into the vase section of the Stupa will last as long as the Stupa lasts which we hope will be many hundreds of years so the action itself becomes very beneficial for ones future lives, and its so easy and pleasurable to do!!!
