When submitting a new post in this forum, when I hit "Preview" then I get logged out - and my long laboured forum message is lost

Fortunately, I was a boy scout & had learnt to "be prepared" - so before I hit "Preview" I did a quick save to my clipboard:

CTRL + A (select all)
CTRL + C (copy the selection)

So a copy of my work was in my clipboard.


I probably won't try to fix this functionality since we are not exactly inundated with forum activity, and the new version of the site is just around the corner, which has updated forum software.
