Venerable Tenzin Palmo was one of the first Westerners to be ordained as a Tibetan Buddhist nun. Early in her life she secluded herself in a cave for twelve years with the last three in strict retreat, facing great physical difficulties including an avalanche.Public Talk: Thursday 24 April. $20 (w), $15 (c). Weekend Teachings: 19-20 April. $75 (w), $15 (c) per day. Venue: Burnside Ball Room Tickets available at the door.
