Thank you to all who helped make the Buddha House Open Day such a success! It seems word travelled far and wide and many people came along to explore our centre. From 1pm onwards the Gompa was choc-a-block with visitors, keen to absorb the atmosphere and observe the goings-on. The day was packed full of exciting events and we were lucky enough to receive an impromptu teaching from Geshe-la.

Our community would like to invite you to join us to again demonstrate our depth of feeling for those suffering in Tibet today.
We want to make more public the atrocities and brutality that is rampant by the Communist Chinese Government toward a peaceloving and gentle people, who have had their country, their culture and their freedom that we take so much for granted, viciously stolen from them. You are most welcome to come along and chant the compassion mantra with us.
Long Life Puja's are meant to be spectacular, and last Sunday's certainly lived up to this expectation. Special thanks to Venerable Jamyang whos expertise and energy was the main reason for it's success, to all the dedicated volunteers who sprung into action, to the whole community who attended and made this occasion so special, and not least to Geshela who's patience and wise guidance has benefited so many of us.
