If you have used a shopping cart on the internet before, then you will have no problems using this one. Go straight in and make your purchases.

If you are not sure about something, guess. Chances are you will guess correctly, but you can always delete the contents of your cart and start again. Look for the special shopping cart links in the top left column when you are in the shop, and make sure you actually read all the instructions as you proceed through the shopping process.

Delivery Options

Delivery options are now available for your orders. These are selectable when you enter the checkout process.

• Pick Up  - Pick up from BH - you will need to visit the office during office hours. Wait for a confirmation from someone from BH before making the trip in.
• None Required - For purchases of items that dont require delivery - Retreats, Events, Membership etc. Basic retreat notification letters and receipts etc are paid for as part the cost of the item & dont need a special delivery charge.
• Deliver Within Australia - Standard Aust Post delivery. There's a $3.90 packaging fee, and then the delivery rates are based on the item's weight. 
   

Payment Options

Credit Card payments through this shopping cart are all processed by PayPal (What is PayPal). You do not need a paypal account to use this service - when at the PayPal payment page, look for the text link under the bold heading on the left hand side "Don't have a PayPal account?".

If you abandon the payment process at the Paypal page - ie if you close the window before completing payment - then that's no problem. You will automatically receive an email from the shopping cart (from:Buddha House [accounts@buddhahouse.org]) which summarises the order, and near the end of the email there is a link "View the order by following the link below". Click the link to view a similar looking web page, but at the top is a PayPal button which allows you to resume the payment process. Buddha House is not notified of the order until payment is completed.
