Block out your Saturday night, Buddha House has a new event!
Saturday evenings fortnightly: 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Every fortnight there will be a gathering for young adults, where we will explore how culture shapes our minds, feelings and world view. Drawing on the wisdom of Buddhism we will discuss how to live life more meaningfully; as young people it's often hard to incorporate our spiritual practice into our daily activities and this group will offer the perfect opportunity to share ideas and stories about our own thoughts and experiences. Some activities that we have already planned are movie nights, art, performance and story-telling, presentations from others in the community and chai (lots of it!). This is the perfect place to explore connections between present youth culture and Buddhist philosophy in an informal, relaxed and entertaining setting.

In the future we look forward to connecting with another wonderful organization called the Loving Kindness Peaceful Youth (LKPY), with which we can share ideas, and provide and receive support.

You don't have to be a Buddhist to come along. In fact you don't need to have ever come to Buddha House before.
