Thursday 13 November (Tibetan - Lha bab Duchen) Every year we celebrate 4 special ‘Buddha Days’ which commemorate different parts of Buddha Shakyamuni’s life. This day celebrates the day that Buddha returned from a place known as the god realm 33 – where he had been repaying the kindness of his mother by teaching her pure Dharma. On this day he accepted a request to descend in order to us to teach Dharma for the sake of all migrating beings. On this day it is said that the merit we accumulate is increased 100 million times, so come along and increase your merit stores by listening to the teachings , or join us for the Medicine Buddha Puja at 4 pm. One of his chief disciples requested him to return and on this day he accepted the request to descend in order to us to teach Dharma for the sake of all migrating beings.
